Judaism and Christianity share much of the Hebrew Scriptures. The key divide is the identity and work of Jesus.

Messiah

Christians confess Jesus as Messiah (Christ). Many Jewish perspectives do not accept Jesus as Messiah.

Christianity teaches a new covenant fulfilled in Christ, while Judaism emphasizes covenant life through Torah and tradition.
